NRGwise Consulting (NRGwise) is looking for an experience Energy Advisor (EA) to assist the owner and current Service Organization Manager (SOM) with current business operations and to assist with the development of growth opportunities. NRGwise currently has a team of over 45 EAs servicing 3 provinces and continues to grow at an accelerated pace. Current Responsibilities:

  • Train and mentor new EAs;
  • Submit the request to register new EAs to NRCan to initiate the registration process;
  • Provide support to our current team of EAs;
  • Interact and provide technical support to staff members;
  • Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner while representing NRGwise and the EnerGuide Rating System (ERS);
  • Act as the point of contact to receive third-party quality assurance audit results from NRCan;
  • Supervise EAs and quality assurance specialists (QAS);
  • Serve as the primary contact person between the service organization (SO) and NRCan.

Business Development:

  • Take the lead in developing our new housing division, working with builders to help them identify design improvements that will allow them to reach miles stones such as ENERGY STAR and/or Net Zero.
  • Train EAs in the delivery of new house energy assessments including the ERS, ENERGY STAR, and Net Zero.

Qualifications:

  • You are a Registered EA in good standing with NRCan.
  • You have completed at least 250 initial D retrofit home energy assessments.
  • You have passed your SOM exam or are in the process of studying to write the SOM exam.
  • Although not a requirement, it would be beneficial if you have also passed the QA exam as well as the MURB and MURB QA exam.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is:

  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office and online software.
  • Organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the office manager, your primary duties will include:

  • Answering and placing calls with customers, contractors, and other industry partners
  • Book appointments into our online booking system
  • Establish and maintain a positive rapport and relationship with clients
  • Answering e-mails and voicemails promptly
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Other tasks as needed from time to time 

Skills:

  • Polite phone etiquette
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both written and in speech
  • Above average typing skills
  • Ability to multitask managing the quality and quantity of work with little direction

Other:

  • Able to lift 25 LBS
  • Sitting, working with a computer and phone for most of the work day
  • Availability between 8:00am-8:00pm (EST)
  • Some weekend availability
  • Benefits after 6 months.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous call centre experience preferred

  • Part Time Casual to Full-Time

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of B2B experience.
  • Great at building rapport, friendly, outgoing and enjoy engaging with new people via email, telephone, and social media.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Solid phone presence and experience.
  • Strong ‘Hunter” mindset converting new business from the competition.
  • Results driven, open to feedback and coaching.
  • You are all about creating business relationships, not just “pitching”.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and good judgment.
  • Effective time management with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously, with accuracy.

Education:

Diploma, certificate or training in sales, business, communications, or related disciplines would be an asset.
